This guide encompasses the tracks, scat, and visible signs of thirty-eight of the most common species of ungulate, mustelid, canid, felid, ursid, avian, and small to medium mammals found in Denali. I created images and text for this ongoing project with Park staff, to be used by Park educators and visitors. The aim was to create a guidebook concise enough to bring along on any excursion, yet detailed enough for locals and first time visitors alike to identify tracks and signs they might encounter. The guide also includes some basic life history information.
